2021 LOLA Malvasia Bianca Piquette

Piquette has a really fascinating history in the wine world. The term "Piquette" means 'prickly' in French and speaks to this wines lightly effervescent mouth feel.Historically this *super* low alcohol wine was enjoyed by winery workers and farmhands. This tradition has continued throughout the centuries, and is known to have been in practice as late as the mid-20th century.  Our Piquette of Malvasia Bianca is slightly sparkly, low alcohol (only 5% by vol.), very dry and super refreshing!
