2022 LOLA Artisanal Series St. Helena Zinfandel

The LOLA Artisanal Series St. Helena Zinfandel comes from our small, one-acre vineyard along the Napa River, located just east of the town of St. Helena. Most of this block was planted in 1954 with about a quarter of it having been replanted in 2009 with an own-rooted cutting from the old vines. Once picked, the grapes are fermented naturally and aged in neutral oak for six months, producing a wine that is fresh and lively on the palate with aromas of wild red fruit, sweet tobacco, and bay leaf.
